Side Trip to Ancient Olympia: Take a tour that will take you back through impressive excavations and ruins to 776 A.D. and the start of the modern Olympic games. Olympia is located in a green, lush valley, fertilized by the Alfelos River. You'll be able to see the temple of Zeus and his statue, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the stadium, which had a capacity of 45,000 spectators. From the excavations, the tour continues through the village of Olympia, where you will have free time to stroll about and shop.

One of the advantages of cruising is the ability to alter
a ship's itinerary if needed. Should any port compromise Costa's commitment to guest safety and security, the cruise line will substitute that port
with a desirable alternative.
